PTA Updates


No School November:

Well, No School November is upon us and kicks off with NO SCHOOL TOMORROW! The continuing trend of no school continues throughout the month, days off for kids are:

  • Friday, November 4th ~ Teacher Grading Day
  • Wednesday & Thursday, November 9-10th ~ Conferences
  • Friday, November 11th ~ Veteran’s Day
  • Wednesday – Friday, November 23rd-25th ~ Thanksgiving Break

Please ensure kids are at school while healthy, learning time is crucial especially with so many breaks. All of our dates are up to date on the Skyline PTA Calendar.

Scholastic Book Fair:

Our Scholastic Book Fair kicks off next week and will run through conferences! Classroom teachers will let you know if their class will be attending the fair either Monday or Tuesday. The fair will also be open before school, after school and during conference hours so stop in and do some holiday shopping or fulfill a wishlist. Do you have a little time to spare? Consider signing up for a shift or two to help out!

School of Excellence Survey

Your help is needed! Our School and PTA and working on making our school EXCELLENT and we want to hear from YOU! Please consider taking 5-10 minutes to go through this brief survey to help give us your feedback on where our school can improve. This is part of the National PTA School of Excellence Program which you can read more about. If you have any questions about the survey, please don’t hesitate to contact Cosette Posko. Reflections Art Program

Students at Skyline will have the opportunity to participate in the Reflections Art Program. Learn more about the program, rules and official entry form.


Our next Scrip gift card order is due this coming Monday, November 7th by 3:00pm. Please consider ordering your holiday gift cards, gift cards to grocery shop or even NO FEE Visa gift cards. You can download an order form, checks should be made payable to SKYLINE PTA. Contact Shirley Baker with any questions.
